English Improvement & Employability Skills
Course overview
This course is for professionals on the UK shortage occupation list. The aim of the course is to improve your English skills so that you can achieve IELTS Level 6.5+. At the same time, you will be learning employability skills such as, CV writing, interviewing for jobs and career development and a host of other skills. In the present job market, it is essential to have employability skills so that you can showcase yourself to the best of your ability.
It is important for students to be able to communicate well using the English language. Our aim is to ensure that students are proficient at speaking, listening and writing using English. By the end of the course students will take the IELTS examination and, we hope, pass at Level 6.5 or above. Having an IELTS qualification will show prospective employers that students have a good grasp of the English language.
Alongside the English language course students will learn a range a soft skills, which are personal attributes needed for success at work. The types of soft skills students will learn include communication, motivation, time management, creative thinking, conflict resolution and teamwork. These are skills that employers value in the UK.

This is an in-person course, delivered at our premises over a 9 month period.
Entry Requirements

Must hold a professional qualifications/certificates/diploma

Possess IELTS, or equivalent, Level of at least 4.5.

Course Overview
Course Start Date: 1/11/2024
Length of course: 9 months
Tuition Fee: £6,500. In addition , students will also need pay for taking an IELTS test which is approximately £220.
