Diploma in Information Technology (Levels 4 & 5)
Course overview
This course gives you a broad base of the knowledge and skills within the Information Technology sector, so that you can look to perform a variety of roles in this industry. The Level 5 course builds on everything learnt at Level 4. After passing Level 5, you are eligible to apply to University to carry out the last year of a Degree.
A qualification in IT provides flexibility in career choices. So many industries use IT and you could find yourself working for large or small companies with the health service, schools, governments or councils, just to name a few.
Course Details
This is an online course. You will be provided with study materials and work through them in order to complete your assignments. All assignments will be conducted online.
Mode of Delivery
At IHMS we want students to feel that they are part of the College, even though you will study independently. There will be regular half hour tutorials every 3 weeks, where you can discuss your progress/any difficulties/comments with a tutor. You will also have access to a personal tutor outside of the tutorial via phone or an online system. We want you to know that there is always someone to support you throughout your educational journey.
When Can I Start?
You can start this course as soon as you have enrolled and been accepted, paid your fees and when you are ready to begin. The course is online therefore there are no compulsory start dates.
